SADS UK were proud of our Patron Dr Hilary Jones MBE who took to the Black Chair of Mastermind. Representing SADS UK on his Specialist Subject on Saturday he was quizzed by the one and only Clive Myrie. Dr Jones got every question right on The Discovery of Penicillin.
SADS UK thanks Emily, her Mum Glenna and Waterlooville Sainsbury's staff for raising awareness and funds for SADS UK in memory of Steve, who tragically passed away from SADS in November 2020. Thanks to the Waterlooville Community for their kind donations and support.
SADS UK praises young footballer Bayley for raising funds to place 2 lifesaving defibrillators at Middlewich Town FC to help save lives. SADS UK Middlewich Representative Linda Boden said “Every morning throughout June Bayley has been getting up at 6am and running a couple of miles before going to school and sometimes in the evening until he ran a marathon." Bayley was inspired to fundraise and help protect his teammates after Danish player Christian Eriksen suddenly collapsed during a Euro 2020 match.
SADS UK thanks Rose Ling who recently took on a 30 day 100 mile walking challenge raising awareness and funds for SADS UK in memory of her dear friend Amelie who tragically passed away in 2020 aged just 28.
