Dame Helen Mirren supports the SADS UK Big Shock Campaign to make defibrillators mandatory in all schools
I support the SADS UK Big Shock Campaign to make defibrillators mandatory in schools. It is particularly tragic to hear of young people dying of cardiac arrest. I understand how important it is to defibrillate a person in cardiac arrest as quickly as possible to give them the best chance of survival. It makes sense that all schools should have this lifesaving equipment in place.

What a fantastic day we had for the SADS UK Stride to STOP SADS walk around the Serpentine in Hyde Park. Lisa said, it was a great day, I met with other Mum's and parents who'd lost children to SADS. It was good to speak with them, the 19th May 2024 is already a firm date in my diary.
