SADS UK member Hilary Robinson has supported SADS UK over many years in memory of her beloved daughter Kimberly who passed away in 2001 aged just 18. We are grateful to Hilary and her friends and family for joining us at the Stride with SADS UK event in Hyde Park on Sunday 8th May 2022.
SADS UK thanks Debbie for taking part in the Brighton Marathon on 10th April 2022 raising awareness and funds for SADS UK to place defibrillators in her community in Dunfermline to help save lives in memory of Stephen Holland.
Roy Tyzack is taking on an abseil challenge down the 190' high water tower at Church Langley, Harlow on Saturday 14th May 2022.
Roy Tyzack is a 75-year-old retired Police Detective, having served with both the Metropolitan Police and Essex Police. He is now a First Response Medic and Qualified First Aid Instructor and Lead Instructor for the SADS UK 'HEARTWIZE' Scheme teaching CPR and defibrillator training to Year 10's in Essex schools to create a generation of lifesavers.
Phil Skayman, Jamie Hallam and Adam Cropper of Hughsie FC will be taking on the challenge of a 3-week trek in the Himalayas on 5th April 2022. They are members of SADS UK’s 11-a-side charity football team formed in memory of friend and Captain Adam Hughes who tragically passed away in May 2009 aged just 25 from SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome).
SADS UK thanks Tracey, Stephen and everyone who supported the Annual Joe Spooner Darts Tournament. Joe tragically passed away aged 15 in 2005 and since his death Tracey and Stephen have supported SADS UK and raised awareness and funds in his memory which has enabled over 35 defibrillators to be donated to schools and communities in memory of Joe to help save lives.
