Supporting Research : SADS UK are often contacted by major Heart Hospitals around the country and individuals taking on research projects to better understand and work to improve lives of people impacted by SADS and heart conditions. We invite members to take part in current research projects that SADS UK is supporting.
SADS UK is pleased to be supporting the Tesco Havant and Friends Team as they prepare to take on the National 3 Peaks Challenge and also hold in-store fundraisers in memory of their colleague and friend Steve Williams. A truly remarkable effort by everyone which is testament to how much Steve is loved and missed by his colleagues and all who knew him. The funds raised will greatly assist the charity in its aim to save lives
A life-saving project which is a partnership between the Health Board, the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust and SADS UK to provide access to hundreds of defibrillators across North Wales and teach people how to respond to a cardiac arrest has been hailed a success. Starting cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using a defibrillator before the arrival of an ambulance increases the chance of survival from a cardiac arrest significantly.

SADS UK thanks Rose Ling who recently took on a 30 day 100 mile walking challenge raising awareness and funds for SADS UK in memory of her dear friend Amelie who tragically passed away in 2020 aged just 28.
SADS UK praises Patrick for his bravery and honesty in speaking so openly in the BBC Documentary about his feelings since the sudden and tragic death of his sister Lauren. Our thoughts continue to be with Patrick, Adrian, Maria and all of Lauren's family and friends.
