SADS UK praises Bayley for raising funds for 2 Defibrillators at Middlewich Town FC

SADS UK praises young footballer Bayley for raising funds to place 2 lifesaving defibrillators at Middlewich Town FC to help save lives.  SADS UK Middlewich Representative Linda Boden said “Every morning throughout June Bayley has been getting up at 6am and running a couple of miles before going to school and sometimes in the evening until he ran a marathon." Bayley was inspired to fundraise and help protect his teammates after Danish player Christian Eriksen suddenly collapsed during a Euro 2020 match.

Holywell Mum's Memory Lives on Through Community Defibrillator placed by SADS UK

SADS UK thanks Helen, Jordanne and all of their friends and family for their kind support in memory of Laura.  Laura passed away suddenly in July 2019 aged just 38.  Her family and friends raised awareness and funds for SADS UK to mark what would have been Laura's 40th birthday.  With the funds raised they were keen to donate a defibrillator to Toe2Toe Fitness as the fitness centre understands how important this equipment is, and both Helen and Jordanne wanted them to benefit from having a defibrillator on their premises.

SADS UK supporting first of its kind unit launched to promote heart education in rural North Wales

SADS UK are pleased to partner with the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board and Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust funding PADS Officer Tomos Hughes for the first years of the project and continuing to support the Welsh initiative to help save lives.  Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) launched a brand new Mobile Cardiology Unit at Llyn Brenig. It is part of a wider project between SADS UK, the Health Board and the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust.

SADS UK partnership in a lifesaving programme to help improve survival rates after a cardiac arrest is being supported with almost £2.5m over the next three years by the Welsh Government.

SADS UK is proud to be a part of the North Wales Partnership to help save lives across Wales. We are pleased that the Welsh Government will be providing almost £2.5m towards a lifesaving programme to help improve survival rates after a cardiac arrest.  The funding will raise awareness about the cardiac arrest chain of survival and fund new educational and training resources, including improving public access to defibrillators.
